Memorial Day

I went to the cemetery today.

It's funny how we don't really understand the losses of others, as much as we want to or claim we do.

All we are capable of understanding is what we ourselves, as individuals, have lost. Individually.

I spoke to her grave.

It's amazing how it still hurts.
